Walked up to doors on Saturday October 13th at around 11am and it just said closed. No opening times or explanation.

Very enjoyable no frills, volunteer run community museum, lots of great information on local history of Witney Town. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable.
You can park in the shopping car park,then stroll up to museum and see the history of the blanket capital of the world. Across the road the blanket hall worth a look at good part of historic Whitney.
