Was surprised on my birthday to visit this hotel and can say it did impress! Good sized room, small but good gym, nice pool, spa and steam rooms. Also had a massage, which was amazing. The evening meal was small but quality food and very tasty. Nice place, would recommend.
Very disappointed. My room was really dark, old fashioned and in need of an upgrade. Bathroom was tiny with mold stains on the ceiling, a mirror mounted too low and a shower inside such a narrow bathtub that the shower curtain stuck to me. TV was tiny, safe didn't work, minibar was a few sad looking items on a tray and bed was soft and lumpy. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Most of the staff are miserable and unhelpful. Property right next to a busy roundabout and doesn't have a lift. Whitney center is a 20 min walk away and is quite pretty with a lovely church and some cute shops and eateries. Just find a better hotel.
Good place. I won't say great though. The room are clean and the bed is good with 7/10 mattress. Dinner was good but a bit salty. Swimming pool is good. Steam room was nice and hot. Staff... about OK. Restaurant opens at x. You get there to be told is 30min later. Breakfast is a 6.45 then when you get get to be told is at 8am. My rating doesn't account staff behaviour. I still enjoyed my stay since i don't worry so much about people
Nice indipendant hotel. Book early to get the best prices. Has a good swimming pool with a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. This is usually included in the room price. Easy to get to as it next to the Witney junction. About a 10 minute walk into Witney. There's a foot/cycle path just outside the hotel.
Good, that's the word I have to describe this hotel. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and service is excellent. Additionally, we didn't get to use it but I'm told there is a gym and swimming pool. Bad points: no lift, so if you have heavy bags and the porter isn't available then be prepared to wait or you can do it yourselves, a gym workout in itself. Additionally, in our bathroom at least the water pressure is very low so having a shower wasn't satisfyingOverall had a good time; the great service makes up for the lack of a lift and poor shower
