nice pub felt welcome will visit again
Been to this pub several times for a meal or snack and I must say food is excellent and staff are welcoming service is unbeatable well worth a visit.
A nice clean pub service was excellent would certainly go back again.
Friendly service. Nice range of food at a good price. Clear bar and tables were cleaned regularly. TV with sports channel on in back eating area. Only let down was toilets. Dirty, broken door, blocked and seat hanging off.
An historic town centre pub which has been revamped to give back some of it's original old world charm. Or should I say Olde world charm. We had great service, and good, reasonably priced food. Considering the varied choice in Witney these days, I think this pub has found a good niche. Footnote: Returned for midweek drinks a few weeks later- deservedly busy, but only one person behind the bar- why do owners spend a fortune on premises, and subsequently nowhere near enough on staff?
