Sit by the river or sit in the rustic, comfy bar. Not a rip off like a lot of Witney is. Pleasant staff. Did not eat but menu looked mouth watering.
This pub has never been better!! The best pub garden in the whole of Witney and the food is seriously good. Decent pubs in Witney tend to be on the pricey side when it comes to food, The Plough has great food at a price that is to be expected in the area. Their menu has traditional dishes as well as new and refreshing ideas for those who like to try something a bit different.We are really happy to have such a great pub so close to us and can't fault it! The staff is friendly and very welcoming.They now have live music and quiz nights, which is yet another reason to visit!I definitely recommend it!!
This is an interesting pub in the heart of Witney. Inside it's quaint - it feels old and authentic but not in the yeah-old-England style. I didn't sample the food so can't comment on that part but it certainly had the feeling of a good location to spend an afternoon drinking ale.
