Unexpected find. The lure of pie drew me in. To find a little museum and blanket shop with friendly staff was lovely. The food was great.
Witney's hidden treasure. Learn a little about the history of Witney and visit the fantastic little cafe/restaurant, specialising in pie and mash. What's not to like. The food is very reasonably priced and super tasty. There are no children's options on the menu but staff are very accommodating to scale down or tweak any of the existing dishes to suit. It is also wheelchair (or double buggy friendly) which is a big bonus.
Good toilets Very pleasant service in Cafe lovely sandwiches and hot chocolate
Awesome local eaterie that specialises in tasty pies, it's good for a lovely cheapish lunch, it has a daily menu that seems to regularly change.. It does other food too but we've only had the pies.. Today there were steak and ale, yum... Chicken ham and leek, yum, lamb and chorizo, yum and some other pie that we didn't have.. 7 each, came with an onion gravy, also yum
Lovely textiles on sale, interesting mini museum in historic building and nice cafe. Nice, modern little garden to edge of river. Not obvious what is on offer from the outside.
